Most outdoor wood cracks, fades, and wears down over time. Woodle decking tiles are made differently. We use some of the world’s most durable hardwoods, Mahogany, Teak, and Merbau, and put each one through our 5-Stage Fortification Process, finished with a PU coating for extra protection. The result is a decking tile that holds its strength and appearance whether it’s around a pool, across a garden path, or on an open terrace.
Our treatment process protects the wood against rot and insects, so no regular oiling is needed for structural reasons. However, natural wood left in the sun will gradually develop a silver-grey tone over time. If you want to keep the original mahogany or teak, a simple coating applied occasionally will do the job.
The tiles sit slightly elevated off the ground, which allows air to circulate and water to drain freely underneath. This prevents moisture from being trapped beneath the surface, which is what causes mold and decay in most outdoor flooring.
No. Because every tile is kiln-dried to a precise moisture content of 8 to 12 percent, the internal stress in the wood is already neutralized. This is what prevents the cracking and splintering you commonly see in cheaper outdoor timber.
Yes, our decking tiles work well over solid existing surfaces like concrete patios or balconies. For uneven ground, we recommend laying a leveled sub-frame first to ensure a stable and even final surface.
Yes. Our precision sawing and finishing process ensures a smooth, splinter-free surface on every tile. The natural density of our A-Grade hardwoods also makes them far less likely to splinter compared to softer or lower-quality timber alternatives.
