Our treatment process protects the wood against rot and insects, so no regular oiling is needed for structural reasons. No. Because every tile is kiln-dried to a precise moisture content of 8 to 12 percent, the internal stress in the wood is already neutralized. This is what prevents the cracking and splintering you commonly see in cheaper outdoor timber.
Yes, our decking tiles work well over solid existing surfaces like concrete patios or balconies. For uneven ground, we recommend laying a leveled sub-frame first to ensure a stable and even final surface.
