Can a Woodle pergola handle strong winds and storms?

Yes. Our pergolas are built using high-density framing and industrial-grade joinery, which allows them to handle significant wind loads. The natural flexibility of the wood also helps absorb impact rather than snapping under pressure, which is a common problem with more rigid materials.

Will the beams warp or sag over time?

No. Sagging usually happens with wood that has not been properly dried. Our beams are kiln-dried to a moisture content of 8 to 12 percent, which stabilizes the wood completely and ensures the beams stay straight and firm for decades.

How are the columns protected from rot at ground level?

Every component goes through our vacuum pressure treatment, which drives protective agents deep into the wood fibers. Combined with the right mounting setup, this process creates a strong barrier against moisture and decay at every point of the structure.

Does the pergola need to be repainted regularly?

No regular painting is needed to keep the wood protected, as the fortification works from within. If you want to keep the fresh, natural wood color, an occasional PU coating is all that is needed. Otherwise, you can simply let the wood develop its natural silver-grey tone over time, which many people prefer.

How long does installation take?

All components are precision-cut and finished at our facility before they reach your site. This means installation is faster and cleaner than traditional on-site carpentry, with no measuring or cutting required on the day.
